Designed in recognition that prevention of falls is a critical issue for those working in Nursing and Residential Homes. Patients may be likely to wander without supervision and are therefore at risk of a fall. Alertamat can be used at the bedside or doorway. The alarm is triggered when the mat is stepped on activating the alarm warning. This unobtrusive mat system can only be disarmed by the carer.
Can connect to a nurse call system with a 3-metre cable provided or can operate as a stand-alone unit independent to a nurse call system with an Alerta Alarm Monitor (sold separately), giving localised alerts.
Comes with a unique built-in “Y” cable. Providing a spare socket for other Alerta devices to be connected to using only one nurse call point.
